Paying for Child Care

The Child Care Resource and Referral at Huffer Memorial Children's Center can provide guidance on child care costs and how to pay for the care. Paying for child care can be expensive and cause stress when planning you family’s budget. If you find yourself needing help to pay for child care, you might want to call you local CCDF voucher agent. The voucher agent can explain the intake process for receiving CCDF (Child Care Development Fund) vouchers. These vouchers can help pay for your child care.

If you do not qualify for vouchers look into programs funded with local dollars from United Way or Faith Based organizations, these programs may operate on a sliding fee scale or offer scholarships. You may also want to ask about discounts for having more than one child enrolled in the program.
