bullet Sliding Fee Scale - The Educare Program provides a sliding fee scale for for parents with incomes between 127% - 200% of the poverty level. With cuts in funding for child care development fund vouchers, there has become an even greater need for families still needing some financial assistance to pay for child care.
bullet Capital Campaign/Building Renovation - At this time Huffer Memorial Children's Center is looking to expand the facility to provide enhanced services to children and families. We are growing by leaps and bounds and more space is vital to increase the quality of services provided by both the Educare and Child Care Resource and Referral programs.
bullet QUALITY Childcare Resource Van - Current funding will end very soon. New support resources have not yet been identified.
bullet RIF - Reading is Fundamental  Program/Children's Library - We continually promote early literacy in our Educare program by providing a print rich environment filled with books of all kinds to be used in the classroom and at home with the families.
